GENERAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Field Supervisors

LOCATION OF WORK:  MN, WI, IL, IA, ND, SD, NE

The Field Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of a tower crew in the construction of towers, performance of inspections, general repair and maintenance on communication towers and associated antennas/subsystems. This position requires significant travel and deployment of up to 1 month at a time. The Field Supervisor will also perform as a Technician and must possess the ability to climb to heights in excess of 500 feet when needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to management of a crew for construction, antenna and lighting installation and repairs, tower repair and maintenance.  Civil and foundation experience a plus.  

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Managing and directing a tower service crew
  • Promoting safety and conducting team safety briefings
  • Picking-up/delivering of supplies, tools, equipment, components, etc., via Company or rental vehicle
  • Constructing and erecting towers – monopole, guyed, self-support
  • Installation of antenna and lines
  • Conducting inspections including – high frequency antennas, antenna subsystems, tower and light inspections, and general environmental inspections
  • Performing general repair of tower lighting: strobes, beacons and obstruction lighting maintenance/repair
  • Timely and accurate completion of all files/logs/reports as required by management personnel

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires Domestic Travel (mostly Upper Midwest)
  • Minimum of 5 Years Supervisory Experience
  • Minimum of 5 Years Tower/Antenna Service Experience
  • Provide Tower Service Industry Personal References
  • OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certification
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Tower Climbing and Rescue Certification

Tower Technicians

LOCATION OF WORK:  MN, WI, IL, IA, ND, SD, NE

The Tower Technician performs construction, inspection, general repair and maintenance on communication towers and associated high frequency antennas/subsystems. This position requires significant travel and deployment of up to 1 month at a time. Technician must possess the ability to climb to heights in excess of 500 feet.
